Section 12 (Front Suspension System): Description

Accord and S2000 models use independent, double wish-bone, strut type suspension. The coil-over strut assembly is attached to the steering knuckle through the lower control arm. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . The steering knuckle is attached to upper and lower control arms by ball joints.

The Civic, CRV, Insight and Odyssey models use independent, lower control arm, strut type suspension. The steering knuckle is attached to the lower control arm by ball joint and connected to the strut assembly by flange bolts. A stabilizer bar is attached by way of a link to the lower control arm. See Fig 3, Fig 4 and Fig 5 .
