Alternators & Regulators - MOTOROLA: Description
NOTE:
Some XJ6 and XJS models use Lucas Alternators. See appropriate article in this section. Also see SEV Motorola Alternators.
Motorola alternators are conventional 3-phase, self-rectifying type alternators. Six silicon diodes, 3 positive and 3 negative, are used to rectify AC current.
