Starter - LUCAS: Overhaul: Inspection: Commutator
- Clean commutator with cloth moistened in solvent. If necessary, use fine sandpaper.
- If further cleaning is necessary, turn in lathe. Remove only as much metal as is absolutely necessary. Do not undercut insulators between commutator segments.
