Combination Switch: Removal

Disconnect battery ground lead. Remove steering wheel. See STEERING WHEEL & HORN PAD  . Remove steering column upper and lower cowl. Remove fiber optic illumination cover. Release fiber optic switch lead from housing. Squeeze the stalk switch securing lugs to release switch from mounting, and slide mounting out. Cut and remove harness-to-switch tie-wrap. Disconnect switch harness block connector. Note wire positions and disconnect harness connections from rear of switch. Remove switch.
