Auxiliary Air Valve: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. If installing a new auxiliary valve, turn idle adjustment screw in completely, then back screw out same number of turns noted in step 2) of removal procedure.
  2. Use non-hardening sealant on new gasket. Check coolant level and top off coolant as necessary. Check idle speed and adjust as necessary. See ADJUSTMENTS article in this section.
