Removal & Installation (6.0L)

  1. 6.0L models are equipped with 2 CKP sensors. One sensor (flywheel sensor) is located at rear of engine, and other sensor (TDC sensor) is located at lower front of engine.
  2. Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Remove heat shield (if removing flywheel sensor). Disconnect sensor wiring harness connector. Remove sensor bolts and sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure sensor air gap is .018-.042" (.46-1.07 mm).
