Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor

IAT sensor is integrated into the same housing as the Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor. On all models, sensor is a Negative Thermal Coefficient (NTC) thermistor with a shrouded bead for fast response to changing air temperatures. Sensor resistance decreases as air temperature increases. IAT sensor provides an air temperature signal to ECM.
