SCP Network Integrity Check

  1. Disconnect the instrument cluster and all control modules in SCP network. See Figure. Connect one module to network. Using DVOM, measure voltage between ground and DLC connector terminal No. 2 (SCP high). See Figure. Measure voltage between ground and DLC connector terminal No. 10 (SCP Low).
  2. Disconnect control module. Repeat test with each module. If a module function is activated during testing and a message is transferred along the BUS, DVOM should show a varying voltage signal at both terminals while module attempts to communicate. For specific module voltage specifications, see SCP MODULE VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
