Description & Operation: S-Type

Front and rear door windows are electrically operated. All windows can be operated individually, or by the driver window control switch. Operation of door windows is controlled by Driver Door Control Module (DDCM) located in the driver's door. Operation of windows is proportional to switch activation. Driver window can be controlled by one-touch operation in an upward or downward direction. When one-touch operation is activated in an upward direction, an anti-pinch sensor is automatically checked prior to the window closing. If the anti-pinch sensor is inoperative, the window will not close. When the anti-pinch sensor detects an obstacle in the windows path, the upward travel of the window will automatically stop. Downward travel of the window will begin until a total of 7 seconds has elapsed.
