No-Load Test
- Connect the DVOM leads across the battery terminals.
- Read the voltage (base voltage) if battery voltage is less than 12.5 volts, recharge battery before test.
- Start the engine.
- Run the engine to 1500 RPM with no electrical load.
- Read the voltage. If the voltage increase is less than 0.5 volts over the base voltage, perform the BATTERY LOAD TEST
