CONCERN

Following warranty analysis of diagnostic trouble codes recorded at PDI, it appears that the steps on the Predelivery inspection sheet are not being followed and recorded codes are being diagnosed instead of being cleared.

CAUSE

Unknown - When the transit relay is fitted a number of codes are induced.

ACTION

During PDI please carry out as described in the Pre-Delivery Inspection Sheet.

Remove Transit relay
Run the IDS/SDD PDI application
Clear Fault Codes using DTC monitor application, (do not Diagnose)
Road Test.
