The Inline Diagnostic Unit (IDU) is a new service tool available, used in conjunction with SDD for improved fault diagnosis of EGR valves and electronic turbo actuators on diesel variants of the above vehicles.
To assist in the initial setup and general operation of the tool there is a user guide available on Topix under the Diagnostics tab, General, IDS/SDD It is important that this is reviewed before the tool is connected to a vehicle.
