Tire Pressure Sensor Initiation

If tire pressure sensor is replaced on a road wheel, the sensor will be learned by the system when vehicle is first driven at a speed of 16 mph (25 km/h) or more for 15 minutes. This process is called the Auto-location function and takes 7 to 8 minutes to be completed. If the vehicle speed is decreased while the auto-location function is activated, the learn process timer will be suspended until the vehicle speed increases to the required speed. If the required speed is not reached for more than 15 minutes, the learn process timer will be set to zero and restart once the required speed is reached.
