NOTE:
The pedestrian protection system control module is an integral component of the restraint control module (RCM) and cannot be serviced separately.
- Make the air bag supplemental restraint system (SRS) safe. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Health and Safety Precautions .
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Torque Specification: 11 Nm
