DTC P261A-13: Coolant Pump "B" Control Circuit/Open - Circuit open: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Ignition on
- The pump logic is to run while the vehicle is in stop-start phase
- Prioritized Checks to Perform
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the auxiliary coolant pump circuit for open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness or install a new auxiliary coolant pump, only when diagnosed as failed
