DTC P0703-62: Brake Switch "B" Circuit - Signal compare failure: Action
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check live data parameters - Engine Input 1 Brake Switch (0x1259) - Engine Input 1 Brake Switch 2 (0x1259). When the pedal is released, both values should be '0'. When the pedal is fully pressed, both values should be '1'
- Check the adjustment of the brake pedal switch. Rectify as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the brake pedal switch primary circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the brake pedal switch secondary circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair the wiring harness as necessary
- Install a new brake pedal switch
