Pedestrian Protection System Airbag
NOTE:
The pedestrian protection system airbag is a non-serviceable component. The pedestrian protection system airbag must not be opened by purpose. If the pedestrian protection system airbag is unclipped, opened up or deployed, the pedestrian protection system airbag must be changed.
The pedestrian protection system airbag is attached under the trailing edge of the hood. Due to the pedestrian protection system airbag location, the successful inflation requires the proper operation of the hood deployment controls prior to the pedestrian protection system airbag deployment.
