DTC U0080-81: Vehicle Communication Bus F - Invalid serial data received: Action
NOTE:
- Do NOT replace any ECU's just on the basis of this DTC
- Do NOT replace the steering gear for this DTC
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the snapshot data to determine the invalid data source control module (using the D020 table in article 211-00), check other modules for the same DTC indicating a fault in the wiring harness and/or incompatibility in the software versions
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the FlexRay bus circuit for short circuit to ground, short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the snapshot data to determine the invalid data source control module. Check the relevant control module for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
