Pump/Motor Assembly: Removal
- Depressurize brake system. Disconnect negative battery cable. Separate coolant pressure bottle from bracket and lay bottle out of way. Remove coolant bottle bracket retaining bolts. Rotate bracket and unplug pump/motor connector.
- Ensure system is depressurized and slowly loosen hydraulic lines. Remove pump/motor assembly from coolant pressure bottle bracket. Remove relay. Separate pump motor assembly from bracket.
NOTE:
Excessive pump operation can lead to pump/motor assembly damage.
