MPFI Models

The fuel pump circuit of the MPFI fuel system is equipped with a ballast resister to reduce fuel pump noise. Voltage to operate the fuel pump is supplied through the fuel pump control relay, except during engine starting (cranking) and wide open throttle conditions. The fuel pump control relay is located on the right inner fender panel. See Figure .
