WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1994 Plymouth Voyager, 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 1994 Dodge Grand Caravan, 1994 Dodge Caravan, and 1994 Chrysler Town & Country. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  in this article. For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  in this article.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect both left pod switch connectors. Disconnect Natural Body Control Module (BCM) connector. BCM is located behind center console. Check connectors, and clean or repair connectors as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1B  . If connectors are okay, go to next step.
  2. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance of dimmer switch signal circuit (Orange/Black wire) between Black left pod switch connector terminal No. 1 and Natural BCM connector terminal No. 20. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Orange/Black wire. Perform TEST VER-1B. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  3. Using DRB in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of ground circuit (Black wire) at Gray left pod switch connector terminal No. 1. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire. Perform TEST VER-1B. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  4. Check resistance of ground circuit (Black wire) at Black left pod switch connector terminal No. 6. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in Black wire. Perform TEST VER-1B. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace BCM. Perform TEST VER-1B.
