Test 49C - Repairing BCM Battery Power Supply
NOTE:

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Ensure courtesy light switch, located on slider dimmer switch, is off. Ensure vanity mirror, glove box, and all courtesy lights are off. Close all doors except left front door. Go to next step.NOTE: Ensure left front door ajar switch is held in CLOSED position in following step.
- Using DRB in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of fused battery supply circuit (Pink wire) at IOD fuse. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Pink wire and replace IOD fuse. Perform TEST VER-1B . If resistance is more than 5 ohms, go to next step.
- Reconnect Blue Body Control Module (BCM) connector. Using DRB in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of fused battery feed circuit (Pink wire) at IOD fuse. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace IOD fuse. Perform 6TEST VER-1B . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace BCM. Perform TEST VER-1B .
