Test B: One Window Operates

  1. Remove door panel of inoperative window, probe harness side of unplugged motor connector. Measure voltage at window switch connector terminal No. 2, holding switch in the DOWN position. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open back to master switch.
  2. With master switch still in the DOWN position, measure the voltage at suspect motor connector terminal No. 6. If battery voltage go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair circuit back to master switch.
  3. With master switch still in DOWN position, check for battery voltage at each motor connector terminals. If battery voltage exists, replace motor/gearbox assembly or regulator as required. If battery voltage does not exist, repair circuit back to switch.
