Distributor (Wrangler 2.5L)
Distributor consists of camshaft position sensor, pulse ring, cap and rotor. See Fig 1 . Distributor does not use centrifugal or vacuum advance mechanisms to advance ignition timing. Ignition timing advance is electronically controlled by PCM. See INPUT DEVICES under COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS.
