Flip-Up Glass Does Not Trip VTSS

Possible Causes:

• Flip - Up Glass Ajar Circuit
• Body Control Module

Testing

NOTE: The VTSS must arm properly for the result of this test to be valid.
1. With the DRBIII(R), read the FLIP-UP GLASS AJAR SW status. Open the Tailgate. Does the DRBIII(R) display CLOSED? If yes, replace the Body Control Module. See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)  in REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  . If no, see FLIP-UP GLASS AJAR CIRCUIT OPEN  in DOOR AJAR. Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST  .
