Procedures

REMOVAL
1. Remove the waterdam.
2. Using a long flat blade or hook type tool, disengage clips attaching glass liftplate to the regulator.
3. Secure glass in up position using a wood wedge, tape, or equivalent.

Front Door Regulator Bolts:

4. Loosen the regulator bolts located at the keyhole slots in the inner door panel.
5. Remove the remaining bolts attaching regulator to inner door panel.
6. Disengage power window regulator harness connector, if equipped.

Front Door Window Regulator:

7. Lift regulator upward to disengage bolts from door inner panel.
8. Remove regulator through access hole in door.

INSTALLATION
1. Position regulator in door through access hole.
2. Lift regulator upward and engage bolts in door inner panel key hole slots.
3. Route the regulator wiring pigtail through the hole in the inner panel and connect, if equipped.
4. Install bolt attaching regulator to inner door panel.
5. Tighten bolts attaching regulator to inner door panel to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).
6. Remove glass support and then position glass lift plate to regulator lift plate.
7. Engage clips attaching glass lift plate to regulator lift plate.
8. Install waterdam.
