Power Liftgate System: Latch-Cables: Removal

Remove the latch. Refer to BODY/LIFTGATE/LATCH/GUIDE PLATE - REMOVAL .
Open the cable plastic retention clip. (Figure )
Separate the cable from the control assembly. (Figure )
Release the support clips, if equipped, and remove the cable.
