Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Jeep Liberty. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the Junction Block. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in BODY CONTROL MODULES - LIBERTY article.
  3. Remove RKE Module from BCM. See Fig 1.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Program customer preferences. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) TRANSMITTER  in PROGRAMMING.
