Front Wheel Speed Sensor: Installation

- Install the wheel speed sensor (2) to the vehicle.
- Install the wheel speed sensor wire (1) thru the wheel well.
- Install the wheel speed sensor wire (1) to the hub/bearing.
- Install the wheel speed sensor wire hold down (4) to the knuckle.
- Install the wheel speed sensor mounting bolt to the hub. Tighten the mounting bolt to 13.5 N.m (120 in. lbs.).
- Install the disc brake rotor (3) (Refer to BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/ROTORS - INSTALLATION) . See Fig 1.
- Install the disc brake caliper adapter. (Refer to BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/DISC BRAKE CALIPER ADAPTER - INSTALLATION) .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly (Refer to TIRES/WHEELS/WHEELS - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
- Reconnect the front wheel speed sensor wire connector to the inboard side of the wheel house being worked on.
