Flip-Up Glass Latch - Installation

INSTALLATION






NOTE: Grand Cherokee (WK) shown, Commander (XK) similar.

1. Position the latch (3) into the inside of the liftgate and align using the marks made during removal.
2. Install and tighten the three bolts (2). Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).
3. Connect electrical connectors (1) to the latch (3).
4. Check and adjust the glass position, if necessary.




5. Install the trim panel. Liftgate Trim Panel - Installation
6. Connect the battery negative cable.
