Removal

REMOVAL





The MAP sensor (1) is installed into the rear of the upper intake manifold (3).

1. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector.
2. Clean the MAP sensor mounting base.
3. Pull up on MAP sensor while rotating counterclockwise about 1/4 turn for removal.
4. Check the condition of the MAP sensor O-ring and replace if necessary.
