MODULE, Transmission Control: Removal: Removal

  1. Remove the steering column opening cover (5). Refer to COVER, Steering Column Opening, Removal .

  2. The TCM (3) is located to the right of the left kick panel (1).

  3. Unplug the two electrical connectors (2) at the TCM (3).

  4. Using a ratchet (2) and a long extension (1) remove the two nuts that hold the TCM to the bulkhead.

  5. Slide the TCM off the mounting studs (1) and remove from the vehicle.
