3.8L Engine

1 - ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (ETC)
2 - ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
WARNING:

Hot, pressurized coolant can cause injury by scalding. Cooling system must be partially drained before removing the coolant temperature sensor.

  1. Remove air cleaner assembly. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL
  2. Partially drain the cooling system.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the engine coolant sensor (1).
  4. Remove the sensor from the intake manifold.
