Camshaft Position Sensor - Removal






REMOVAL






NOTE: The Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) is bolted to the front/top of the right cylinder head.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector at CMP sensor (3).
2. Remove the sensor mounting bolt (2).
3. Carefully twist the sensor from the cylinder head (1).
4. Check the condition of the sensor O-ring.
