Power Door Lock Switch: Testing and Inspection

DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING





1. Remove the power lock switch from the door inside trim panel. Power Lock Switch - Removal.
2. Disconnect the door wire harness connector from the back of the lock switch.
3. Using an ohmmeter, test the resistance between the terminals of the switch as shown in the Power Lock Switch Tests table.





4. If the switch fails any of the tests, replace the ineffective power lock switch as required.
