Generator - Removal

1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the engine cover (1).





4. Remove the air cleaner body (1) Air Cleaner Body - Removal.
5. Position aside the serpentine belt Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal.





6. Remove the generator electrical connector (2) and the B+ battery stud cover (1).





7. Remove the B+ retainer (1) and position aside the B+ cable.





8. Remove the generator mounting retainers (1).
