Module, Fuel Pump: Description: Description
The diesel fuel pump module contains a submersible permanent magnet electric fuel pump, fuel pump reservoir, fuel level sending unit, fuel pressure regulator and a fuel filter. The entire module except for the mounting flange is concealed within the fuel tank. The module is connected to the vehicle electrical system through a dedicated take out and connector of the underbody wire harness.
The fuel level sending unit is available for separate service replacement. Refer to SENDING UNIT AND SENSOR, FUEL LEVEL, REMOVAL . The remainder of the module is serviced only as a complete unit.
