Charging System (Service Information): Generator: Removal: 2.4L

Remove the engine cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL .

Disconnect the field generator harness connector (3).
Remove the B+ cable from the generator stud (2).
Remove the upper generator bolt (1).
Remove the lower generator bolts (4).
