Sensor, Knock: Removal: 2.4L

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the Intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the knock sensor electrical connector.
  5. Remove the mounting bolt (1) and knock sensor.
