Sensor, Transaxle Range: Installation: Installation
- Install the Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) (1).
- Instal the TRS bolts (1) hand tight.
- Install the manual control lever (1).
- Install the manual control lever nut (1) and tighten to the proper (Torque Specifications) .
- Align the TRS (1) with the manual control lever (1) and insert a suitable pin punch (2) or equivalent in the alignment holes.
- Tighten the TRS bolts (1) to the proper (Torque Specifications) .
- Install the shift cable.
- Connect the TRS (1) wire harness connector.
- Install the battery tray (Refer to 08 - Electrical/Battery System/TRAY, Battery/Installation) .
- Verify the vehicle starts in PARK and NEUTRAL ONLY.
