Removal And Installation: Installation

- Install the power liftgate drive unit assembly (1) to the D-pillar.
- Verify that the drive unit bracket mounting tab is properly seated into the hole on the D-Pillar.
- Install the three drive unit assembly to body bolts (2).
- Connect the drive unit wiring harness connector (1) to the drive unit assembly.
- Install the link rod to the liftgate attachment point.
- Install the left quarter trim panel. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Using an appropriate scan tool, check and erase any power liftgate control module diagnostic trouble codes.
- Perform the power liftgate learn cycle. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE LEARN CYCLE .
- Verify power liftgate system operation.
