Sensor, Coolant Temperature: Installation: 3.6L

  1. Install the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor (1) into the thermostat and turn clockwise 1/4 turn to lock in place.

  2. Verify that the lock tab (1) has properly engaged.

  3. Connect the wire harness connector to the ECT sensor (1).
  4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  5. Install the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
