Module, Transmission Control (TCM): Installation

  1. Position the Transmission Control Module (TCM) to the vehicle for installation.

  2. Secure the TCM to the vehicle using two bolt fasteners (1).

  3. Connect the wiring harness connections (2) to the TCM (1).
  4. Install the knee bolster/steering column lower panel. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
  6. Perform the TCM adaptation relearn. Refer to MODULE, TRANSMISSION CONTROL (TCM), STANDARD PROCEDURE .
