Sensor, Dynamics: Description
The yaw rate and lateral acceleration sensors are referred to as the dynamics sensor and are housed within the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) (1). The sensors are used to measure side-to-side (lateral) motion and vehicle rotational sensing (how fast the vehicle is turning (yaw).
Yaw and lateral acceleration sensors cannot be serviced separately.
