Pipe, Exhaust CROSSUNDER: Installation
- Install a NEW
gasket (1) on the catalytic converter.
- Install the cross-under pipe (2) to the catalytic converter and tighten the flange nuts (1) finger tight.
- Install the rear cross-under pipe isolator bolts (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
- Install the front cross-under pipe isolator bolts (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
- Tighten the cross-under pipe flange nuts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
- Install the rear engine insulator and bracket. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Install the exhaust resonator. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Check for proper pipe to shield/component clearance.
- Check for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary. Refer to LEAK TESTING .
- Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
