Insulator, Engine Mount, Right: Installation

  1. Install the right engine mount insulator (1) to the frame rail with two bolts (3) hand tight.
  2. Install the right engine mount insulator strut tower bolt (2) hand tight.
  3. Install the three isolator to bracket bolts (6, 7) hand tight.
  4. Tighten the isolator to strut tower bolt (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  5. Tighten the two insulator to the frame rail bolts (3) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  6. Align the right isolator with the mark (5) made during removal and tighten the forward bolt (7) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  7. Verify that the two alignment arrows (4) are within 3 mm of each other in the fore-aft direction and tighten the remaining two bolts (6) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).

  8. Install the engine mount support bracket (2) with two bolts (1 and 3) hand tight.
  9. Tighten the support bracket to strut tower bolt (1) and the support bracket to engine mount bolt (3) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  10. Install the air cleaner body. Refer to INSTALLATION  .
  11. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .

  12. Install the negative battery cable (2) to the transmission (3) and tighten the bolt (1) to the proper specifications.

    Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).

  13. Install the left front wheel house splash shield. Refer to INSTALLATION .
  14. If equipped, install the skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, SIDE, INSTALLATION .
  15. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
