Pedal, Accelerator: Installation

CAUTION:

The accelerator pedal and mounting nuts need to be torque in a mandatory torque sequence or damage could result to the pedal assembly.

Install the accelerator pedal (2). Tighten the screws to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).

Connect the accelerator pedal (5) wire harness connector (4).
Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
Use a scan tool and perform the APPS RELEARN function.
