Set Condition
- After a calibrated amount of cool down time, the PCM performs a general temperature rationality monitor and compares the Ambient Air Temperature (AAT), Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT), and Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor values:
- If the general temperature rationality passes, the PCM then compares the Engine Oil Temperature (EOT) Sensor value to the other temperature sensor values.
- When the difference is greater than a calibrated threshold, this diagnostic fails.
