TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - STEERING GEAR

CALLOUT DESCRIPTION SPECIFICATION COMMENT
1 Adjuster Screw Lock Nut 45 N. m (33 Ft. Lbs.)  -
2 Steering Gear Fluid Line Nut 28 N. m (21 Ft. Lbs.)  -
3 Steering Gear Bolts (Long, Alloy Gear) 60 N. m + 170° (44 Ft. Lbs. + 170°)  Apply threadlocker to the steering gear bolts.
3 Steering Gear Bolts (Short, Alloy Gear) 60 N. m + 135° (44 Ft. Lbs. + 135°)  Apply threadlocker to the steering gear bolts.
3 Steering Gear Bolts (Iron Gear) 60 N. m + 135° (44 Ft. Lbs. + 135°)  Apply threadlocker to the steering gear bolts.
