Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1/1

CAUTION:

The exhaust gas temperature sensor requires care when handling and installing. The exhaust gas temperature sensor is sensitive to knocks and bending. For this reason if the exhaust gas temperature sensor has been dropped, it must not be installed as damage to the sensor may have occurred. Do not remove from packaging until ready to install. Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

  1. Install the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) sensor 1/1 (7) and tighten to 45 N.m (33 ft. lbs.).

  2. Connect he EGT sensor 1/1 wire harness connector (1).
  3. Install the transmission skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSMISSION .
  4. Install the exhaust pressure sensor tube and sensor. Refer to SENSOR, EXHAUST PRESSURE, INSTALLATION .

  5. Install the engine cover (1).
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
